If you don’t want to find yourself with no place to go one week before holidays, don’t wait for the call of other members. Like in real life, it’s vital that you provoke your own chance.

In other words :

Be ready long before holidays
Many exchanges are agreed a year before departure. In autumn of the year before, some people already know their next summer destination. Don’t wait to move. If someone refuses your offer this year but shows somme interest for the following year, don’t forget him.

Send e-mails…send more e-mails
The more e-mails you send, the more chances you have to find an exchange. Devote a full evening to start your research. Start dreaming of some destinations. In one night you will travel from Canada to Argentina, through Italy or Ireland. In one evening, you can send up to 30 mails. Repeat the operation two or three times. You will then be connected to enough people.

Answer everybody
As soon as someone answers or contacts you, give a response !
